Workshops
Want to help your baby, toddler or preschooler thrive?
Focusing on building early language skills is a great way to foster connection in infants and bolster later Kindergarten readiness.
Giving your young child great speaking and listening skills is one of the most important things you can do to set your child up for social and academic success. Oral language skills are the foundation for all of the learning your child will do throughout his life.
That’s because oral language skills set the stage for later reading and writing, as well as friendship/social skills. Research shows that students who don’t have strong comprehension and expressive skills are more likely to struggle with later academic tasks in school.
Each language skill builds on the one before it, so it’s important to begin early.
We offer a variety of individual and group-based classes that help you better understand what skills are age-expected and how to foster language success every step of the way.
We believe that helping you and your child connect and communicate will allow your child and your family to thrive.
We are now enrolling in community language workshops via a partnership with the Town of Cary. Limited space is available for our Summer workshops. In addition, decreased prices for these workshops reflects our mission to increase the accessibility of early childhood parent education. Sign up for our Summer language workshops here in the Special Interests, under Early Language Learning.
